Eric Clapton will release an album of songs originally recorded by his late friend JJ Cale.

Cale died on July 26, 2013.  The Oklahoma musician wrote Cocaine and After Midnight, two songs that became huge hits for Clapton in the 1970's.

You can stream the entire album for free here via iTunes.

The tribute album will be called The Breeze, a nod to Cale's nickname.  It will feature Clapton covering Cale's songs with guests like Tom Petty, John Mayer, Willie Nelson, Mark Knopfler, and Derek Trucks.
