Weezer will release their ninth studio album, Everything Will Be Alright in the End, on September 30th.

The band has been teasing the album for months.

In a press release, the band said that the album is "organized thematically around three groups of songs."

The album will be produced by Ric Ocasek.  Ocasek, who is also known for his work as the front-man for the Cars, produced Weezer's 1994 Blue Album and 2001's Green Album.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, drummer Patrick Wilson compared the new album to the Blue Album and 1996's Pinkerton album, "This record sounds like it's going to have a tight structure of 'Blue Album' with a little more abandon like 'Pinkerton.'"
