Dave Grohl's Sound City Players have officially made their way to music stores.  The soundtrack to the Foo Fighters frontman's "Sound City" documentary is available now, with contributions from Paul McCartney, Stevie Nicks, Corey Taylor, Josh Homme, Trent Reznor and others.

Many of the featured artists have been taking part in live shows across the U.S. and in London as the Sound City Players.  And even more - including Tom Petty, Lindsay Buckingham, Neil Young and Lars Ulrich - show up in the "Sound City" film, which is also now out on blu-ray and DVD.

The doc will also be screened at South by Southwest in Austin, Texas, this week, where Grohl is set to give the keynote address on Thursday.
