Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning proved why he is one of the best regular season quarterbacks in the history of the NFL.
Manning threw for a record-tying seven touchdowns in a 49-27 win for his Broncos over the Baltimore Ravens. The quarterback is now one of six passers who has ever thrown for seven touchdowns in a game. He is the first since 1969.
The Ravens ended the Broncos' season last year on their road to a Super Bowl championship. In that game, a crucial Manning interception helped put the Ravens in a great position for a game winning field goal.
