It seems as if the "Gangnam Style" craze has finally died down (sorry Psy), but not to worry because there is a new viral video hit in town - "The Harlem Shake." You may have seen these absurd and ridiculous videos sweeping the web recently, but where did this all begin?

The track that is playing throughout all these videos is "The Harlem Shake" by producer/DJ Baauer. Trap music seems to be getting bigger and bigger within the dance music community, which Baauer himself describes as "hip-hop born from the internet." Baauer's "The Harlem Shake" is a trap hit that was released on star producer Diplo's Mad Decent label over the summer, and has been featured on numerous "Diplo and Friends" mixes. 

And now the song has made its way into these crazy and hilarious videos. New York Radio Station KTU's Paul the Web Guy took "The Harlem Shake" to the Manhattan subways. Take a look:
