Interpol now has a new album to go along with their new tour. The indie rockers hit the road on Tuesday, and on Thursday they officially announced El Pintor.
The group's first album since 2010's self-titled effort is scheduled to be released on September 9th. Interpol wrote and recorded most of it last year in New York City before finishing it up in London.
And for the first time, they're letting the fans in on that process by having themselves filmed in the studio. It's unclear exactly what they'll do with the footage, but for now fans can watch a teaser clip (below).
Interpol's current trek is scheduled to stop in Toronto on Saturday for the Field Trip Festival and in New York City on Sunday for the Governors Ball. The band will head overseas after that before returning in August for Lollapalooza and more U.S. dates.
