Ravens Come Up Short Against Titans 23-20

The Baltimore Ravens were fortunate to have quarterback Joe Flacco in the lineup following what looked to be a serious head injury in Week 8, but the Ravens offense was lackluster in a 23-20 loss to the Tennessee Titans.

Flacco threw for 261 yards and two touchdowns in the game, but also threw a pair of costly interceptions. The team relied heavily on Flacco despite the team's strength in the run game, totaling only 73 yards on the ground on only 22 rushing attempts.

The teams traded field goals in the first quarter before Titans QB Marcus Mariota hit Rishard Matthews with a 16-yard TD pass to put the Titans up 10-3. The Ravens cut their lead to 4 after Justin Tucker nailed a 49-yard field goal in the second quarter, but the Titans added 6 with a 1-yard touchdown run by Derrick Henry to give them a 16-6 lead at halftime.

In the fourth quarter, Joe Flacco flipped a 3-yard touchdown pass to Buck Allen to get within a field goal of tying the game, but the Titans' Eric Decker scored a touchdown on a 11-yard pass from Mariota to give the Titans a 10 point advantage late in the fourth quarter.

The Ravens were able to answer with a Mike Wallace touchdown catch, but failed an onside kick after and time expired.

The Ravens fall to 4-5 on the season entering their bye week. They return to play an Aaron Rodgers-less Green Bay Packers in Week 11.
