Guy Who Played Barney Now Runs a Tantric Sex Business

David Joyner was the man inside the costume of Barney the Dinosaur, the beloved PBS children's TV program, from 1991 to 2001. So what has he been up since giving up the fuzzy purple suit? Naturally, Joyner now runs a tantric sex business!

In an interview with Vice, Joyner says he started his practice in 2004. A session costs $350 and is three to four hours long, and is supposed to "fully release a woman's blocked energy."

Joyner claims, "When the lingam [penis] and the yoni [vagina] meet, there's a certain energy that takes place that hands on the body alone cannot create. Even through G-spot massage, it's still not the same energy that flows."

David's 30 or so clients are all women that he met through word of mouth and even Tinder. His sessions include a "ritual bath, chakra balancing, and a massage" for starters. But for "higher and more blissful state of awareness," Joyner recommends unprotected sex because condoms "block the energy."

And now this is what Barney is to us:
