Apple Is Reportedly Testing Feature to Unsend Text Messages on iPhone

Apple is reportedly testing a new feature that would allow users to unsend a text message.

According to MacRumors.com, the feature could arrive as early as iOS 14, or it may never be implemented at all.

The option to retract a text message would only work if both the sender and recipient both are using the iPhone's iMessage app. Should a text be "unsent," both the sender and receiver would get a notification that the message was retracted. It's not clear at this time if there would be any time limit on being able to retract a message.

Another feature that is rumored to being tested is the ability to tag contacts in group messages so they are only sent to specific people in the group chat. It would be used by tagging a person/people using an "@" followed by their name as they appear in your contacts.
