Airline Passengers Tape Drunk Man To A Seat After He Storms The Cockpit

Passengers onboard a Russian S7 flight took matters into their hands after a drunk passenger tried to storm the cockpit. The man, who was not identified, started acting aggressively and shouting insults at members of the flight crew during a four-hour trip from Mineralnye Vody to Novosibirsk in Russia.

At one point, the man announced that he was going to "have a word" with the pilot and made his way toward the cockpit. Other passengers jumped into action and subdued the man, who one passenger said was acting like a "wild bear." The man refused to calm down and had to be taped to a seat in business class until the plane landed

When officers tried to take him into custody, he verbally and physically attacked them. After they got him to the police station and placed him in a holding cell, he demanded to be released and told the officers he had no recollection of what happened during the flight.

He is facing charges of disturbing the public order and could spend up to five years in jail.
