The popular Hampden ice cream destination is expanding outside of Baltimore for the first time.
A new location for The Charmery is coming to Columbia in late 2020 and will be the company's fifth overall location. It will be located in the Central District area of Columbia.
According to Baltimore Fishbowl, the Columbia Charmery will offer their signature flavors like Old Bay Caramel and Maryland Mud and they hope to add some special flavors "inspired by local businesses and musical talent in the Merriweather Disctrict."
Laura Alima, who is the owner of The Charmery with her husband David, says, "I grew up in Columbia and still have family in the area, so this expansion truly feels like a natural progression into an area that we already know and love."
