Blue Line Service Suspended After Metro Trail Derails

DC Metro Proposes Major Service Cuts To Address Nearly $500 Million Deficit

The DC Metro blue line service has been suspended between the Pentagon and Foggy Bottom stops after a train reportedly derailed just before 5pm on Tuesday.

Officials say they received a report of a disabled Blue Line train at approximately 4:53pm in the tunnel between the Rosslyn and Arlington Cemetery stations. The train "partially" derailed.

As of the time of this writing, no injuries have been reported. Shuttle buses are being deployed.
