See Paul McCartney, Elton John In Trailer For New Abbey Road Documentary

A new documentary celebrates the 90th anniversary of London's Abbey Road Studios in the words of some of the most famous artists to ever work there.

The film, If These Walls Could Sing, is directed by Mary McCartney and features interviews with her father, Paul McCartney, along with icons like Elton John, Roger Waters, Nile Rodgers, Noel Gallagher and even Star Wars creator George Lucas and composer John Williams.

"When you enter a place with so much history around it, it's kind of sacred in a way," John says over the trailer's opening. "People want to come here. They want the sound of Abbey Road."

In addition to being the director, Mary also serves as the film's narrator, explaining the part Abbey Road played in her own life. Born in '69, Mary adds that Abbey Road was more than just where her parents worked; it was also where some of her earliest memories are set (Wings recorded all but one album at Abbey Road).

If These Walls Could Sing debuts on Disney+ on December 16.

Disney further describes the film in a statement: "In this personal film of memory and discovery, director Mary McCartney guides us through nine decades to tell the stories of some of the studio's most iconic recordings — and the people who made them happen [via] exclusive access to the most famous and longest-running studio in the world."
