Jack Osbourne defended an AI-powered interactive hologram of his late father, rock icon Ozzy Osbourne, after receiving flack for the proposed concept.
During Licensing Expo 2026 earlier this month, the music legend's wife, Sharon Osbourne, and Jack revealed that they partnered with hologram company HYPERREAL to create a hologram of the iconic musician.
After fans responded negatively to the news, Jack took to YouTube to back the concept. "It's gonna be so tasteful," he promised in the clip. "It's not gonna be lame. It's really complex what we're doing. This is some high-level technology we're gonna be working with, and it's gonna feel very real. It's really cool, and it's something that, you know, I think my dad would be into." Watch it here.
The former reality star continued, explaining that he and the former Black Sabbath frontman even discussed it prior to his death in 2025. "We actually talked about it before he passed, about doing something like this," Jack admitted. "So yeah, I know he would be into this."
Earlier this month, Jack also provided an update on the upcoming biopic about Ozzy. "I can tell you this, we are moving ahead," he revealed in a livestream on May 12. "I was on calls today about it, the script is, like, right there. We are good, this movie will absolutely happen."
