If you regularly drive around Baltimore and think that other drivers are horrible, you're far from the only one.
In a newly released ranking by auto insurer Allstate of the best and worst drivers in the US's 200 largest cities, Baltimore came in dead last. For the second year in a row.
The rankings were based on the average number of claims per driver and Allstate's Drivewise app, which can analyze driver behaviors on the road.
According to Allstate's findings, Baltimore drivers went an average of 4.2 years between having to file an auto insurance claim versus the national average of 10 years. Another stat says Baltimore drivers are involved in 30.6 "hard-braking events" every 1,000 miles driven. The national average there is 19 per 1,000 miles.
Allstate has been compiling the list of cities with the best and worst drivers for 15 years now. Baltimore has been in the bottom 10 for the past 10 years.
