John Cena Won't Let Coronavirus Stop Him from Visiting Kid Fighting Cancer

In case you didn't already know, WWE superstar and actor John Cena is a good dude. Since his rise to fame as a pro wrestler, Cena has used the platform to help make a positive change in the world, having now granted over 600 wishes for the Make-A-Wish foundation.

And now, not even the coronavirus is stopping him from granting wishes.

David Castle, a 7-year-old who is battling a childhood cancer that starts in the kidneys called a Wilms tumor, got an unexpected surprise at his home in Odessa, Florida on Sunday. That's because Cena, who lives in nearby Tampa Bay, showed up to David's house to pay him a visit.

Tammy Miller, David's mom, says he got so excited and shed tears of joy when he saw John come to meet him. Cena gifted David with WWE title belts, signed T-shirts, a signed program, a signed bobblehead, a hat and armbands.

Cena enlisted the help of Pasco County Fire and Rescue to make sure his visit was as safe as possible as he was photographed with David wearing a mask and gloves.

Miller says David has undergone numerous painful procedures at the hospital and still has months of radiation and chemotherapy ahead of him on the road to recovery.

David's family created a GoFundMe to help pay their medical expenses.
