Stadium Journey has ranked Oriole Park at Camden Yards their #1 Stadium Experience of 2016. The list ranks 100 stadiums in the US covering all sports, from college basketball to Formula One racetracks. The list was created to inspire sports fans to venture out and visit the cities and towns where the venues are located.
The home of the Baltimore Orioles was ranked #1, with the top spot being given to Camden Yards due to the way it changed the stadium baseball experience throughout the entire league. "Prior to its opening, the landscape of professional baseball was littered with boring, multipurpose stadiums. Now nearly every team in the league has a great baseball stadium... If Baltimore had built a standard, boring facility, baseball may not look and feel the way it does," writes Paul Swaney.
The Ravens' M&T Bank Stadium was ranked at #14, and is the highest ranked NFL stadium experience on the list. "The fans who attend games at M&T Bank Stadium will always have a memorable game day experience and get good value," explains Swaney.
