But Australians treat severe weather differently. Whereas most people would retreat to high ground and avoid rushing water, Aussies like to have a little fun.
News footage appeared showing some guys in the torrential floods bodyboarding and surfing. But, wait for it... another guy is pulling a guy with his jet ski in the flood waters.
