Only one day after the tragedy at Marjory Douglas Stoneman High School in Florida, a Baltimore County high school was place on lockdown after a student was reported to be concealing a gun inside of his backpack.
Police and a SWAT quickly converged on Loch Raven High School in Towson on Thursday and were able to apprehend the student without any incident. The weapon later turned out to be a pellet gun.
A student in the classroom where the suspect was arrested caught video of the SWAT team entering the room to make the arrest. A teacher is seen slowly opening the door to the classroom to confirm it was law enforcement officers then raised his hands as the SWAT team instructed the students to do the same.
The student was charged with disturbing school activities and possessing a dangerous weapon on school grounds.
