In honor of UMBC's historic upset of Virginia in the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament, the Baltimore Orioles are hosting a UMBC Pride Night on Friday, April 20th. Fans can purchase select tickets to the game that night when the O's host the Cleveland Indians and get a commemorative yellow-colored cap with the UMBC Retrievers logo on the side.
It's one of a few Pride Nights the Orioles are hosting this upcoming season, but this one has a little extra flair. The team will honor the UMBC men's basketball team at the game and are inviting students, teachers and alumni to come to the game.
