Mayor Pugh Is Encouraging Baltimore To Be Painted Purple For The Ravens

The Baltimore Ravens are heading to the playoffs and the city is celebrating!

Mayor Catherine Pugh announced through a press release via Facebook on Monday, Dec. 31, the day after the Ravens' win over the Cleveland Browns that crowned them Kings of the North, that she would be encouraging all residents and businesses in the 410 area to change their lights to purple to support the team! The Bromo Seltzer Tower, The War Memorial and City Hall Dome are already shining the teams' colors.

WBAL-TV has decked their lights out to support the team and logos have been painted in front of City Hall and Federal Hill. The Ravens will play the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday, Jan. 6 at M&T Bank Stadium at 1:05PM as part of Wild Card Weekend.
