Joe Flacco has a new team.
NFL.com is reporting that the longtime Baltimore Ravens quarterback will be traded to the Denver Broncos in exchange for a mid-round draft pick.
Although both teams appear to have an agreement in place for the trade, the deal cannot be made official until the new NFL year official starts on March 13th.
Until now, Flacco has played all 11 seasons in the NFL with the Ravens, including 6 seasons in the playoffs. He was named Super Bowl MVP in 2012 when the team went on a remarkable run in the playoffs and threw for 1,140 yards and 11 touchdowns with no interceptions in those four games.
Flacco battled injuries in 2018 which ultimately cost him his job as a starting quarterback. Rookie Lamar Jackson took over after the bye week and went 6-1 with the team, allowing the Ravens to capture the AFC North division title and make it to the playoffs for the first time since 2014.
