In Dundalk, MD, near Watersedge Park, a person launched their car into Bear Creek Thursday morning (May 16th).
Firefighters responded to a caller saying they saw the white car in the water. When they arrived, the person who had been driving the vehicle was found on the shore after swimming to safety.
First responders swam around the submerged vehicle but did not find anyone else.
The person who swam back to shore was taken to a nearby hospital. Their injuries and condition are unknown at the time of this writing.
There is no word on how or why the person ended up driving the car into Bear Creek because it appears from helicopter footage that there were no roads nearby the resting place of the car.
