TSA Finds Missile Launcher in Man's Luggage at BWI Airport

TSA agents detected a mysterious object in a man's checked luggage at BWI Thurgood-Marshall Airport near Baltimore this morning and it turned out to be something rather unexpected.

When agents opened the Texas man's bag, the found a missile launcher. Not something that really belongs on a commercial flight. The launcher was unloaded and therefore did not pose a threat. The man is an active member of the military and said he was bringing back the Griffin missile launcher as a souvenir from Kuwait. He was trying to catch a connecting flight out of BWI when TSA agents found the device.

It was confiscated. The man won't face any charges and was allowed to catch his flight after being questioned by police.
