A video on Facebook is going viral, showing an Anne Arundel County Police Officer finding and rescuing a young deer with its head stuck in a fence while on patrol.
Corporal Bill Strunck's dashcam captures the moment when he approaches the stuck deer and dislodges in by pulling its hind legs. The deer collapses to the ground after being freed. Strunck pets the deer on the head before giving it a nudge, and the deer is able to get back to its feet and run off into the woods.
The moment occurred Sunday in the area of Deep Cove Road in Churchton.
