To say it's been a rough year for Chris Davis would be an understatement. And last night things got worse for him.
Davis had to be restrained by his teammates in the Orioles dugout during last night's 14-2 blowout versus the New York Yankees after manager Brandon Hyde said something to Davis, causing him to charge Hyde.
It's unknown exactly what set off Davis, but just before the incident Davis showed an apparent lack of effort on fielding a throw that allowed a baserunner.
Davis was taken out of the game. He's batting just .183 this year with 110 strikeouts in 278 plate appearances.
