BREAKING: Huge Explosion Destroys Columbia Office Building

Just before 8AM on Sunday morning (August 25), a huge explosion destroyed an office building in Columbia, MD on the 8800 block of Stanford Blvd. A tweet from Howard County Fire & EMS says the explosion was the result of gas.

People heard and felt the shockwave from the massive explosion from miles away, as far as Jessup and surrounding homes and buildings in Columbia reportedly were shook.

Howard County Fire & EMS say they received a call about a possibly gas leak around 7:30AM. The explosion happened minutes later.
