Chaps Pit Beef, the iconic staple of Baltimore, is expanding.
The restaurant opened a location in Rehoboth Beach last year, and plans to open a new location in Pennsylvania. But it was recently announced that another Chaps Pit Beef will be opening in Glen Burnie.
According to Baltimore Business Journal, the new Chaps will be on Governor Ritchie Highway at Ordnance Road.
The original Chaps Pit Beef opened in 1987 on Pulaski Highway in East Baltimore and since then has won numerous awards for their pit beef sandwiches and has been featured on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives and Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations.
