A struggling mom posted a heartbreaking video after she went to the store to buy diapers for her kid to only find that all of the normal-sized diapers had been bought up.
"How am I supposed to diaper my child if I can't afford to buy 20 at a time like you can?" Lauren Whitney posted the video to her TikTok where it was watched over 5 million times. She was flooded with countless positive comments and offers to Venmo her money.
Whitney posted a follow-up video, saying, "First of all I want to say thank you so much to everyone that's offered to help. I mean we're ok. We're not the richest of people, of course, but we're not destitute. I just wanted to post that video to bring awareness to the fact that people that are you know, going out and panic-buying are causing problems for those of us that can't afford to go do that."
