'Mama June' Shannon, who rose to fame on the reality TV show Here Comes Honey Boo Boo, makes a confession on the latest episode of Mama June: Family Crisis. June admits she was using "$2,500 a day, if not more" in meth.
June explains to her daughter "Pumpkin" the reason why she sold her house was because she "was dead f---ing broke" from her spending habits.
She says she's now "about 90 percent" clean.
The discussion between the two was for Pumpkin to determine whether or not she will allow June back into her family's life.
Previously, June took a drug test which tested positive for cocaine, but it turned out to be a false positive.
“I really thought that I was going to be mad if Mama’s drug test came back positive. But Mama’s reaction is showing me that she's basically crying for help. I want to be there for her, and I want her to be a part of the kids’ life. So, I’m willing to give it another chance," Pumpkin said in an interview.
Pumpkin says June will have to follow three rules to be allowed back in: having a working cell phone, having weekly drug tests, and an in-patient rehab stay.
June and her boyfriend Geno Doak were arrested in March 2019 on suspicion of drug possession at an Alabama gas station. She has reportedly been having issues with drugs ever since.
