Maryland Transit Authority Investigating Burnouts Filmed on Bay Bridge

The Maryland Transport Authority is investigating a video that was uploaded to social media over the weekend showing the driver of a black Nissan sports car doing burnouts on the Chesapeake Bay Bridge while stuck in traffic.

According to FOX 5 DC, it's unclear whether or not the driver had been identified or whether or not they could face any charges.

A large gathering of drivers met in Ocean City over the weekend for an unauthorized car rally, leading to over 100 arrests due to "speeding, reckless driving, spinning of tires, [and] demonstration driving."

The Bay Bridge is a heavily traveled route for people in the areas of Washington, DC and Baltimore to get to the Eastern Shore of Maryland.
