Tuesday night in Baltimore, a man armed with a rocket launcher was reportedly seen in East Baltimore. An alert was sent out via the Citizen app, an app that allows real-time reporting of crime and incidents in the hopes of making the streets safer. The man was reportedly seen on the 2500 block of Malvern Street, right around the corner from Jimmy's Seafood.
Given the Citizen app uses crowdsourced information, it's entirely possible the sighting was a prank or an exaggeration. But not long ago, during a gun buyback in Baltimore, someone actually turned in a rocket launcher.
