Holiday Inn at Baltimore's Inner Harbor Has Closed Permanently

The Holiday Inn hotel in Baltimore's Inner Harbor is the latest casualty of the coronavirus pandemic.

The hotel, located on W. Lombard Street, has closed permanently with a white drape now over the sign and notices placed on the doors.

The Holiday Inn first opened in 1964. The owners say the lack of events at the nearby Baltimore Convention Center and the lack of fans at Orioles baseball games this year were two of the main reasons that resulted in the closure.
