According to a new study based on geotagged data collected from Twitter, we now know Maryland's favorite cookout dish... and its most disliked one, too.
Nationwide, hot dogs were found to be the most popular cookout food based on data from all 50 states over the last month.
But Maryland as a state has a different favorite: mac and cheese.
Other popular items include ribs, hamburgers and fried chicken.
As for the most reviled cookout dishes, the most disliked in Maryland is potato salad. Other states had deviled eggs and coleslaw as their most disliked.
Do you say, "pass the mac and cheese" and skip the potato salad?
