Ravens 2nd year linebacker Malik Harrison was the victim of a shooting over the weekend in Cleveland, according to a statement released by the team on social media.

"On Sunday night while attending a gathering in Cleveland, Malik Harrison sustained a non-life-threatening injury after being struck by a stray bullet in the left calf.

Malik, who received medical care at a local hospital, has been in touch with our team doctors and will return to Baltimore today [Monday]."

Harrison has a total of 21 tackles for the Ravens in 7 games in 2021 including 12 solo tackles. He was most recently the 2nd string left inside linebacker behind starter Josh Bynes.

It's unclear if Harrison will be able to play this week when the Ravens take on the Minnesota Vikings coming off the bye week. The Ravens have been devastated by injuries in 2021 and it's tragic to see Harrison getting injured outside of football activities.
