Jessica Welch, Director of the Delaware Tourism Office, joins me ahead of the busy summer beach season to talk about Delaware's amazing beaches, coastal dining, state parks, rich history & more! Jessica also gives me the inside scoop on what it's like when President Biden comes to town! (his beach house is in Rehoboth) From outdoor concert venues to the Delaware State Fair, museums, and more, there's so much to do when visiting Delaware!
Jessica Welch has been the Director of the Delaware Tourism Office since August 2022 and previously served as Communications Director for the Delaware Division of Small Business and Director of Public Relations for the Delaware State Housing Authority. She also has experience in marketing and media relations roles at Hagley Museum and Library and the Delaware Office of Management and Budget and worked as a state government reporter for the Delaware State News. Jessica holds a bachelor’s degree in English and journalism from the University of Delaware, and a master’s degree in public administration from Wilmington University. She lives with her family in Milford.
