Thousands to Attend BBQ Near Vegan Who Sued Neighbor Over Meat Smells

Recently, a news story went viral after it was reported an Australian woman tried multiple times, unsuccessfully, to sue her neighbors because she couldn't stand the constant smells of barbecued meats in her backyard.

Now, a Facebook event has been created to have a massive cookout right next to the woman's home in Perth. It's called the "Community BBQ for Cilla Carden" and already thousands of people say they're going to show up for it.

"Don't let Cilla destroy a good old Aussie tradition, join us for a community BBQ, and help Cilla Carden GET SOME PORK ON HER FORK," reads the event description. The cookout is set to take place on October 19th and the page also notes no vegans are allowed to attend.

Carden said her neighbors are constantly cooking smelly fish, smoking and their kids keep bouncing balls which has made her "quality of life ruined." Her case was thrown out of court and she plans to keep appealing to Australia's supreme court for help.
